School Trip – Hello Coffee 2025

Only once a year in January you can experience life of a coffee farmer: from bean to cup!

Our friends from School Coffee organize a yearly event in which they take you on a 3 day (2 nights) trip to the countryside in the mountains around Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai province. During this trip you’ll learn everything about coffee, basically from seed to cup of coffee! The whole process! So as you can imagine this will be a field trip to local farms, learning about the plants, about the beans, about the growing process, about a natural and organic approach… you’ll get to experience picking of the coffee beans and see all sorts of types and variations to process the beans. This is a once in a year experience for true coffee lovers that like to know everything about their coffee, or would like to learn new valuable skills for themselves. There will be a coffee tasting championship too, to see who’s a good and accurate taste for all the different coffees you’ll get to try.

Note that P’Big the owner of School Coffee is a respectable international coffee tasting judge on championships and so are some of the employees in School Coffee that will join this trip!

Coffee Farming experience Chiang Mai

During these days you’ll live a similar life to that of a coffee farmer as we go to the countryside in the mountains. You’ll definitely go to places you’ve never been before (about 3-4-5 hours from Chiang Mai city) and you’ll meet other coffee lovers that are eager to learn together with you. During these days there are also more cultural activities planned. These includes super local visits to (famous) locals and places, try the amazing local cuisine and we’ll visit a local school to donate food and help the local community over there. Hope to see you on 10-12 or 24-26 January, or another day in School Coffee in Chiang Mai!
