Srisombat Farm is a unique and welcoming place located in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Owned and operated by a family with a passion for sustainable living, the farm offers visitors a chance to experience the beauty of nature, fresh, organic food, and Thai culture. Definitely a great place to visit if you like to try fresh fresh food and drinks.

The Family Behind Srisombat Farm

The father, Nakhon, had a career as a chef and he participated in a Thai TV show where he finished as one of the top chefs in the show. Together with his son, Champ, they started this journey by creating Srisombat Farm. The farm is a piece of land south of Chiang Mai where they aim to grow rice, have a small forest, and cultivate fruit and vegetables. Champ’s girlfriend also plays an important role in the farm, she runs the coffee shop that serves fresh drinks, and where Nakhon cooks the fooda using products from their organic farm as much as possible.

A Future Green Oasis

In the next years, the family hopes to complete the farm’s development and transform it into a green oasis. This oasis will not only be a space for growing food and plants but also a place for families, and couples to come and stay camping overnight. The family envisions a space where visitors can connect with nature, learn about sustainable living, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

Keep in mind that the farm can look different and offer a different experience every season, as it will be more dry during the summer and more green during the rainy season!

Volunteering at Srisombat Farm

If you’re interested in volunteering and contributing to the growth of Srisombat Farm, you can contact us (WhattodoinChiangMai), and we’ll will connect you with Champ. Champ told us that volunteers can stay at the farm, sleeping in a tent in the field under a roof. Food and drinks can be provided as well to help cover any costs of people who help at the farm! Furthermore volunteers will help with various tasks at the farm, learn about new processes, and contribute to making the place new and beautiful while immersing themselves in Thai culture, agriculture, and learning about fruit, vegetables, and other products.
