From bean to coffee: connecting people and supporting each other through coffee!

School Coffee was established with a mission to provide an immersive experience for coffee enthusiasts and curious visitors alike, cultivating a culture of quality and sustainability that has earned it numerous awards and accolades from both domestic and international coffee lovers.

In a short time span, School Coffee, became a good friend of us. We were invited to travel to a befriended coffee farm in Chiang Rai, 1.5h away from Chiang Mai City. We also visited a local school to have the kids draw the future coffee bean bags for in the coffeeshop. We really love how School Coffee works on connecting and helping each other in and around Chiang Mai and we support these great initiatives!

The coffee shop

Located in of Chiang Mai, near the Railway Station, School Coffee presents a cute, ‘school-like’ design that pays homage to traditional Thai shophouse style. The interiors are adorned with vintage items, plants, and artwork from local artists, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for studying, socializing, playing games or drawing with your kids, or simply relaxing over a cup of expertly brewed coffee. Or find cute handcrafted accesoires, like coffee mugs, to bring home as souvenir.

In case you get hungry, don’t fear! Because next to School Coffee you can find two little shops for your appetite. Firstly, POHSOP, an amazing small restaurant with truly amazing organic meals; it smells so good and fresh! And secondly, there is a great little bakery named circle.pound for delicious desserts.

Local coffee and non-coffee drinks

At School Coffee, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of special local coffees made using various brewing techniques. From pour-overs and siphons to cold brew and nitro coffee, there’s something for every taste bud. School Coffee believes that a good coffee starts at the root, with the coffee bean. So the beans are organically grown at the farms of partners and friends in the countryside of Northern Thailand, and processed and roasted at School Coffee.
