There are many touristic locations and activities around Chiang Mai. In this post we give you our recommendations and insights for doing a trip in the area of Mae Rim, which is north of Chiang Mai city. Mae Rim is easily accessible by motorbike or car and offers a wide variety of activities to easily spend a full day of fun.

- Wat Pa Dara Phirom Phra Aram Luang (free to visit beautiful Buddhist temple)
- King Cobra Chiang Mai Show (watch and touch snakes and reptiles and watch the great King Cobra show)
- Mae Sa Waterfall (nature park with waterfall, eat something and chill, or hike to the different levels)
- Pong Yaeng Jungle Coaster & Zipline (go on a more adventurous trip in the mountains)
