Decathlon Chiang Mai for outdoor gear
A practical stop for clothing and equipment before a hike, ride or other adventure around Chiang Mai.
Updated 25 October 2026
Decathlon Chiang Mai is a handy stop if you want to pick up something for a hike, bike ride, swim or camping trip. The large store in Nong Pa Khrang brings clothing, footwear and equipment for many sports together, so you can browse in person rather than searching several shops across the city. It is just as useful if you need to replace a worn-out item midway through your travels.

Gear for days around Chiang Mai
For mountain outings, the hiking section is a place to look at walking shoes, daypacks, light layers and rainwear. Cycling accessories, swimwear and camping equipment are there for other kinds of trips. You can compare sizes and styles in person, whether you are planning a longer route or simply want a comfortable shirt for an active day.

There are also smaller Decathlon outlets near Tha Phae Gate and in Hang Dong. The large Nong Pa Khrang store has the broadest range to browse. Decathlon also offers online shopping with Click & Collect, which can be convenient if you already know what you want and would rather collect it at a store.
More than a shop
The larger Chiang Mai branch also has a playground and sports space. Decathlon Chiang Mai says it offers free sports classes; the programme changes, so its activity listings are the place to look for a current session. You can also visit simply to browse for your next day out.
