Donation based trips!

As we love to make trips to the countryside of Chiang Mai in our private time, we often visit beautiful places which are truly amazing to explore. These are places where sometimes barely any tourists go or heard of. We’d love to give others the opportunity to join us on these kind of trips as well. That’s why we’re introducing the concept on donation based trips!

Explore Chiang Mai almost for free

Depending on time, date, weather and maybe some other conditions… we love to make trips around Chiang Mai. If you are interested in joining a trip, or want to do your own trip (together with us) you can! There are two kind of trips:

• Join us on a trip that we already plan to do ourselves. Join this trip for free and you are free to explore somewhere else, make your own plan or stick with us, and you may decide if you’d like to leave us a donation or not.
• Ask us to help organize a trip for you, or accompany you on a trip that you’d like to do. We’d very much appreciate a donation as we make time to support you on this kind of trip and travel with you as a local friend.

Advantages of making these trips?

There are some advantages for traveling with local (Thai) who live in Chiang Mai!

• Sharing is caring! We love Chiang Mai and are excited to share this with you!
• We Speak Thai and English, so it can be easier to get around
• Know most of the police checkpoints in Chiang Mai
• Can share experiences, tips and trips about Chiang Mai and Thailand in general
• Freedom! You are not stuck in a (group) tour for exploring all these wonderful locations

But… who are we?

We are are group of friends (non-Thai origin and Thai origin) whom work and live around Chiang Mai. We share a passion for traveling, as we love love to go on trips and explore new places. Some of us are from the countryside of Chiang Mai and would love to introduce new places to travelers, tourists and others who’d love to go on a trip.

On this website, we have different trips in the ‘Tours-category‘, which we recommend you to travel and explore. Or we can accompany you as you wish. You can recognize the trips that we can accompany you with, from the “Travel with Tiger” banner (as shown on this page as well, when you scroll a bit lower).
