One Nimman and Maya Mall

A simple guide to an easy afternoon in Nimman, combining shops, food, coffee, and a break from the heat.

Updated 19 October 2026

One Nimman and Maya Mall sit at the centre of Nimman, one of Chiang Mai’s busiest modern neighbourhoods. They are useful when you want an easy afternoon of food, coffee, air conditioning, and a short walk between stops. The surrounding area also regularly hosts events and activities, so there can be more to discover than the shops themselves.

Start at One Nimman

One Nimman has smaller shops, food, drinks, and an outdoor courtyard that often hosts pop-ups or seasonal events. It has a more design-led, open-air feel than a conventional mall. The courtyard and dining areas can be lively into the evening.

Continue to Maya

Maya is a larger indoor mall with more food options and practical services. It works well for a meal, cinema, or a break from rain and heat. The rooftop is worth checking near sunset for city and mountain views, though access and opening arrangements can change. Check the current directory if you are looking for a particular shop, because tenants change.

Nimman in the late afternoon and evening

The late afternoon and evening are pleasant times to stroll around Nimman, once the heat eases. Around One Nimman, Maya, Think Park, and the nearby streets, you may come across markets, music, pop-ups, or other events.

On Friday evenings, a walking street takes place on Nimman Soi 6, about five minutes on foot from Maya or One Nimman. It is another place to explore if you are in the area on a Friday.

Parking and traffic can be busy around Nimman. A songthaew, ride-hailing car, or a walk from nearby accommodation keeps the visit simple.
